Contracts Manager - Housing
Blue Water Recruitment are seeking a Contracts Manager to work for a Housing Developer in South Wales.
Suitable candidate must have experience with new build houses & flats.
The successful Contracts Manager will be responsible for the follow:
- Involved in the projects from planning, preconstruction, and costing
- Work closely with the commercial team to keep track of the budget
- Manage and delegate work to the Site Managers and Contractors
- Ensure all systems and operating procedures are up to date
- Ensure company procedures and targets are being met.
You will need:
- 2+ years’ experience in this role
- Strong understanding of the housing industry
- Must have excellent man management skills
- IT Literate
- Be prepared to go the extra mile to keep the client happy and get the project complete on time
- Problem Solver
- Strong understanding of building regs and H&S policies and procedures
