Electrical Contracts Manager – Highways
Blue Water Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-established Civil Engineering contractor that is based in South Wales.
Our client specialises in key projects such as rail infrastructure, highway amendments, bridges & structures, highways lighting and public lighting.
The job will involve the following duties:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the delivery of all projects, planned and reactive maintenance.
- Ensure contractual commitments are met in line with contract KPI's.
- Drive quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Encourage progress and development with team members and client.
- To have the customer focus for all areas of operational activities and maximise relationships with the client.
- Develop new business and client relationships.
- Responsible for the operational management and service delivery.
- Managing costs and maximising profitability in line with budget and the requirements of the contract.
Essential Skills
- An understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations, current edition of BS 7671 and the Codes of Practice and guidance documents relevant to the range of electrical work undertaken.
- Understand the Inspection, testing, verification, certification, and reporting procedures for the range of electrical work undertaken.
- Able to converse, and meet with, Clients; understand their requirements and produce follow -up information.
