Project Surveyor
Blue Water Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Project Surveyor for one of our clients based in Cardiff.
Our client is a Tier 1 Contract that specialises in key construction projects such as office, retail, and schools / universities developments.
Job Responsibilities but not limited to
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Prepare and analyse costings for tenders
- Allocate work to subcontractors
- Perform risk, value management and cost control
- Advise on a procurement strategy
- Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks
- Analyse outcomes and write detailed financial reports
- Value completed work and arrange payments
- Establishing client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies
- Value recovery and cost control
- Production of Final Accounts
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
Qualification / Background
- Qualified at degree level – Quantity Surveying
- At least 3 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with recognised Main Contractors.
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Experience of working collaboratively with supply chain.
- Strong numeracy skill
