Blue Water Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a Tier 1 Construction Company that are looking to add a Site Engineer to their team in Cardiff. Job Purpose: Responsible for ensuring line and level control on the project and quality compliance. Supporting the operations team in delivering quality, environmental and health & safety processes whilst maintaining the critical path programme. Key Tasks: Be involved with the design process and procurement of subcontractors for the external works, façade and internal fit out. Update and monitor the works programme for the area of responsibility, reporting promptly to the Project Manager any problems which may lead to time delays against works programme Co-ordinate and attend meetings with the design staff and subcontractors Manage the QVF file (quality plan of every subcontractor) and ensure work inspection records are done in compliance with it. Undertake as built surveys and produce associated record drawings Monitor and check supply chain setting out for compliance Monitor and check works installed against the specifications for compliance About You: Proven experience on building setting out Competent with setting out equipment such as GPS, laser level and auto level Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor This is a permanent position that comes with a competitive salary, car allowance, business mileage, private healthcare and an excellent holiday package and matched pension contribution.
