Blue Water Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Site Administrator to work on a large construction project based in the Cardiff area.

 

The successful candidate will be working alongside Senior Management on site providing financial support & secretarial / administrative duties.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in managing the site's petty cash, bookkeeping, maintaining the expenses ledger, raising and managing purchase orders and collaborating with the accountant to approve invoices.
  • Maintain the purchase ledger for the construction site, ensuring accurate recording of invoices, matching them to purchase orders and delivery notes, and timely processing of payments.
  • Assist in managing various administrative and HR-related tasks associated with the construction site. This includes documentation, record-keeping, and coordination of HR-related matters in compliance with company policies.
  • Comprehensive administrative support to facilitate the seamless day-to-day operations of the construction site. This includes maintaining records, scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.

 

You will need to have advanced Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, to create reports, manage data, and generate documents efficiently.

Blue Water Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a Tier 1 Construction Company that are looking to add a Site Engineer to their team in Cardiff. Job Purpose: Responsible for ensuring line and level control on the project and quality compliance. Supporting the operations team in delivering quality, environmental and health & safety processes whilst maintaining the critical path programme. Key Tasks: Be involved with the design process and procurement of subcontractors for the external works, façade and internal fit out. Update and monitor the works programme for the area of responsibility, reporting promptly to the Project Manager any problems which may lead to time delays against works programme Co-ordinate and attend meetings with the design staff and subcontractors Manage the QVF file (quality plan of every subcontractor) and ensure work inspection records are done in compliance with it.
